(Some were original songs that SMent bought afterwards, some were only demos, some were bought by both SMent and another company.)

personally I don’t see the issue with remaking songs. Don’t get me wrong, I ultimately prefer new songs made just for the artist, but I like the thought of a song that was incapable of reaching its full potential now being seen in a whole new light. it’s not like SM makes bad remakes either, they are always an improvement. A lot of my favorite SM songs are remakes. Music is meant to be enjoyed, no reason to dissect it so much^^
